Who am I?
I am Siska. I am an award-winning wedding photographer and nature enthusiast with big dreams.
I have been a professional photographer since 2021 and have photographed more than 150+ weddings since then. So it's safe to say I have done my fair share. I absolutely got caught by the wedding photography bug, capturing families and experiences alike. Having the opportunity to be part of a family's moment, whether it's a belly shoot, birth, a communion, family pictures, proposal, engagement, business shoot, or wedding day, is an amazing adventure, and getting to capture those moments is a blessing.
But who am I? I am a third culture kid who has lived in 5 different countries on three different continents, all before the age of 18. I was very lucky to get to experience some of the amazing cultures we have on this planet. It is also where I fell in love with photography and the impact it can have. When one of our schools took us along to help build and support a school in Nepal, up in the mountains close to Mt. Everest, being able to show photos of whales and puffins to kids who will probably never be able to see these beautiful animals left a big impact. Here I am more than 10 years later, and that memory still plays in my mind. It is also one of the reasons I call myself a nature enthusiast. To be able to share this planet with all these incredible beings is such an amazing gift, a gift not everybody realizes. So when I am not found behind my camera or computer editing, I can often be found in nature with my trusted dog, Artemis (the Malinois), by my side.
I have an immense love for reading and love learning any hobby that I get to do with my hands, from pottery to violin to creating my own clothes here and there. I am also an avid Potterhead and can quote most of the books.
My goal at any wedding or event I get to be a part of is to bring joy and kindness, capturing the special moments.
